UHMW Sheets, Rods and Tubes
exhibit the properties of excellent impact strength, abrasion resistance, low
coefficient of friction, as well as very good chemical resistance. This
industrial grade material is also moisture, stain and odor resistant, and is FDA
approved to be used in the food processing industry. The material is ideally
suited for wear applications especially in contact with metals.
- Tivar® 1000 Provides
outstanding abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction. Impact
strength is high and chemical resistance is excellent. UHMW-PE also exhibits
a high coefficient of thermal expansion (meaning that the material will
expand or swell under increased temperatures). This product is also FDA,
USDA, 3A Dairy compliant

TIVAR®
H.O.T.
Formulated to maintain key performance properties in an extended temperature
range, Tivar®
H.O.T. will excel in a variety of industrial manufacturing environments
where temperatures range up to
275°F (nearly 100°F higher than competing UHMW-PE formulations).

Due to the
material's ability to inhibit the oxidation process, Tivar® H.O.T.
applications demonstrate extended life in chemical, elevated temperature and
thermo-cycling environments. The result is a material that lasts up to 10
times longer in higher temperature environments and has excellent wear,
machinability and release characteristics. This material is FDA compliant.

TIVAR® 88
Uniquely formulated UHMW, TIVAR 88 engineering polymer has a very low
coefficient of friction, excellent abrasion resistance. Lightweight (1/8 the
weight of steel), it is easily machined and installed. Available in an
anti-static formulation. Not FDA compliant
- TIVAR® AntiStatic protects
parts sensitive to build-up of static electricity. Surface resistivity
ranges from 105 to 109 (ohms/cm2).

Resistant is modified for enhanced stability in outdoor applications
- TIVAR® Oil Filled is an
enhanced dynamic coefficient of friction formula, exuding an oil additive to
lubricate mating surfaces. This is commonly used for applications requiring
higher pressure velocity values. TIVAR® Oil Filled meets FDA & USDA
guidelines for food contact applications
